Breakfast was top notch. Plenty of options with fresh quality food. The hotel itself is located in a busy central location right on the marina. The hotel has a grand colonial design to it.

Excellent breakfast with a a huge variety of food and drink on offer. The staff are friendly and highly professional. I really like the location in Old Alexandria, which has fantastic views over the sea front and is in the midst of a thriving shopping and restaurant location. The Montgomery Bar on the 1st floor is really lovely, with a welcoming, calm atmosphere and attentive staff. The cocktail menu is impressive and the ingredients are completely fresh. Overall, this hotel has a lovely, old world feel from the glory days of the early 20th century steamboat travel era, but with all the modern conveniences one could hope for.
