Breakfast was exceptional. Delivered by the owners through the pouring rain. Unusual eggs with aubergines (delicious) fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cheese, home made pastry, breads, butter and coffee. The accommodation is in a bergerie (shepherds house) within the grounds of a chateau. There is the main house and ruins and completely natural and wild. Very atmospheric. There is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms with separate staircases, sitting room and dining area with log burner. Downstairs bathroom. Outside there is a patio area around a pond and many places to sit in the grounds. Very cosy and comfortable. Lot's of personal touches and very clean. We can't wait to go back. The owners are so helpful and friendly. The nearest town for restaurants, bars and shops is about 5 kilometres away in Montreuil Sur Mer. There is also a boulangerie in the small village of Alette. Overall a magical, relaxing and wonderful experience,

I highly recommend La Bergerie du Château. So quiet, pretty, magical.Just perfect ! 💚💜🧡 Close to Le Touquet and Calais. A perfect stop before travelling south or over the Channel. Marion & Gilles are wonderful hosts who provided us with a very tasty breakfast. We did not want to leave ! We'll be back...
