We liked the location and the facilities offered. The cottage was nice and warm and provided a good base for walks in the area.

The location is great. Right on the High Street. As we went out of season, it wasn't busy or too noisy, but I can imagine in the summer it would be a different matter. There's a bathroom downstairs, which was handy and an ensuite to the double room at the front. We actually found the back bedroom bed more comfortable, so chose to sleep in there. But there were only two of us. We enjoyed the woodburner in the living room. Kitchen was well equipped. Didn't use the garden as weather didn't really allow. Aldeburgh and surrounding areas are charming with lots to explore.
