Returned ealier this week from a five night stay and we loved the location and the sea view. We were really fortunate with the weather...hot and sunny for our whole stay. We didn't use the pool...the water temperature felt a little too cold but this wasn't unexpected with it being March. The sea was a little chilly too but the rock pools further along were a lovely temperature for a paddle. The immediate area surrounding the apartment was very quiet and peaceful with some beautiful beaches and a few shops, bars and restaurants with everything you need for your stay. Just up the hill, however, about half a mile away was the strip with its bustling nightlife...we loved it....the best of both worlds!!😀 We used the apartment as a base for the World Superbike round held at the Portimao circuit and it was ideal...about 45 mins drive from the airport and 45 mins drive from the circuit. When it came to the apartment everything was very easy and there was everything you need. Communication with the host was great and nothing seemed too much trouble....even when we locked ourselves out at 9am one morning🫣....within 5 minutes the lovely George (caretaker) and Anna (housekeeper) were on hand to help us. Top tip....don't leave the keys in the back of the door!🤪

Close to the beach sorry you are basically on the beach you get to enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the balcony or the beach everyday 3 minute drive to an Aldi for the longer stays which was so helpful (which is cheaper than the UK) bolt (taxi) works and they are quick and cheap the area is a short steep hill to the strip you can’t go wrong with this property I am truly telling you. Their Wi-Fi is fast, smart tv had literally everything just login or use the guest one the hosts were so accommodating with a fast response time on the booking.com

So close to the beach, the apartment over looked the sea & you could hear the waves it was just beautiful 💕 really comfy apartment, even though slightly dated it has everything you need to enjoy an amazing holiday!
