The receptionist recommended us to a really good local French restaurant just 5min walk from the hotel. In my research (Google and TA), I never found that place. Grateful for his recommendation. The hotel is the standard Ibis Budget which I think it's value for money if all you want is a clean, comfortable place to sleep. 7min walk to city centre / sights / restaurants. The overnight parking for hotel guest at 8Euro is cheap for so near city centre.

The room was a good size, shower good, temperature just right. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.The parking was close and inexpensive.

Breakfast included local and organic foods. The traditional croissant, chocolatine (pain au chocolat), coffee and the like but also 5 different kinds of jams/ confits, cereals, eggs, meats, fruit, yogurt and more. Very delicious, very worth the price and well laid out. The staff were friendly & the buffet was kept well stocked and clean. The room was small but the space was very well used so that we had a double bed with a bunk. There was a WC, a separate shower with a curtain for privacy and a separate sink/mirror which allowed the 3 of us to get ready in the morning with relative ease despite the tiny space. We felt welcomed. There was also a spacious lobby with a few items to entertain the kids. The hotel held our luggage for us until our room was ready so that we could go on the town once we got there around 10am. The A/C (Clima in France) was good.

Location close to historic town and the wonderful L’Epicurien restaurant. Also parking on site ( to pay for). The male receptionust was very pleasant and keen to use his English. The young female (trainee?????) needs more training to encourage a positive approach.
