Great location right on the Piazza, with bonus of a large terrace. Host Mauro was lovely with his son Nick helping out with any language issues. They had plenty of restaurant advice(all close by to walk to) and kindly helped when we needed a doctor. Alba is surrounded with amazing wine areas (Barolo!) and is a great base for visiting the other towns close by such as La Morra and Neive

It was a fantastic location. In fact for being in the center of the town of Alba it was surprisingly quiet. In addition to the white truffle festival there was another medieval festival happening the weekend we stayed and none of the noise was audible from our room. The apartment pictures are accurate and it is truly a lovely place. Giancarlo was an excellent communicator and even picked us up at the train station. He also made a dinner reservation for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. The apartment also had a convenient kitchen with Nespresso maker which made my husband very happy. And given the unseasonably warm temperatures we loved the AC.
