Guests may book a transfer from Al Wasil to the camp at an additional point.Guests are required to show a photo ID and valid Oman visa upon check-in. Fantastic, authentic-feeling property. If you want a tranquil night or two this is the place to come, away from those who cannot go without excessive tourist infrastructure. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and plenty of sheets/blankets to keep warm at night. Delicious cooked dinner and breakfast exceeds expectations given the remoteness. A short 5 minute wander from the camp and you’ll feel like you have the entire sands to yourself. The staff are very attentive and friendly, happy to chat as long as you are.

I picked this place because it was properly in the desert, run by a Bedouin family and with no internet access. I wanted to see the desert sunset, the desert stars and some camels and that’s exactly what I got.
