We had an incredible two-night stay at this hotel in Nizwa! The service was absolutely top-notch. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade and even received free breakfast, even though we hadn’t booked it. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious, truly a 10/10 experience. Adnan was an exceptional host, providing us with countless tips and ensuring that nothing was missing during our stay. Jahed and Hassan were also amazing, always helpful and attentive. Together, they make an outstanding team that goes above and beyond for their guests. We can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!

It was honestly an amazing and remarkable experience. The host Adnan updated our room as a surprise for our honeymoon and included breakfast, which was wonderful. Many recommendations about nearby restaurants and activities were given. Also very quick response from Adnan if anything was needed like an iron. He and his staff were truly kind and hospitable. We would definitely book at the same place again. It was just around the corner from the Nizwa Souq and the Fort. A better location is not possible. The Bait Al Muallem has an interesting historical background which Adnan explained to us at the beginning.

Our positive impression of Bait Almuallem by Nomad Nizwa began right after booking: the receptionist proactively explained the parking options and the hotel made it possible to secure a spot right in the Old Town. An electric buggy guided us to the parking area and then brought us to the property—super smooth. The historic, recently renovated mud-brick house sits in the middle of the Old Town. Despite the high outside temperatures, the building stayed pleasantly cool, and our small first-floor suite was an architectural gem. The restoration treats the original fabric with care, preserving intimate historic rooms while furnishing the living areas comfortably in an authentic local style. The air conditioning was essential and worked perfectly, contributing to a wonderful stay. The location could not be more central: the souk and the most significant parts of the Old Town, along with many restaurants, are just a few minutes’ walk. We loved our time here and will definitely return. Highly recommended.
