Location is perfect in the valley near Akureyri. Its cozy and perfectly located between two rivers which had two waterfalls. We saw northern lights two days in a row behind the mountains and it was beautiful.

Absolutely stunning location and cabin, the hosts have thought of everything, from the intricate details like their little book about the building of the cabin, their helpful tips on how to use the cooker etc, and finally a cabin with utensils that can actually be used to cook! There was heavy snow fall during the night that would have left us snowed in, however the hosts went out of their way to ensure the path to the cabin was clear so we could leave safely. We absolutely loved the place - this is our 8th visit to Iceland and this has to be by far one of the best places we have stayed. Thank you.

This was our best accommodation during our road trip in Iceland. In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by mountains, lies this clean, spacious, perfectly equipped house. We can only recommend it and would love to come back again.

Amazing location. Amazing view. Super clean & comfortable. Great value for money. The owners provided everything we needed and more. We did a 7 day road trip around the entire island (staying in a different property every night!) and this was the best place we stayed!
