I booked this accommodation because it was the lowest price I could find in Akureyri. It's very central, and a nice place to stay. It's an old boarding school and has that vibe. I'm pretty happy with my stay.

Really great location near the town and very close to the fabulous swimming pool in Akureyri. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and tidy, showers and bathroom at end of hall were modern and well-done. Plenty of parking on site.

This a a good hotel, with free parking facilities right outside the building. The young man at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The room we were in did not feel particularly welcoming, however there was a wash hand basin in the room which was appreciated. The shared bathroom was very clean and allows for privacy while showering or using the toilet.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Quiet location close the city centre. Very helpful personnel. Clean shared bathrooms and simple rooms in the old part of the building; room with bathroom in the new part of the building.
