Most beautiful views of harbour. Very private with lovely gardens to explore. Comfortable bed and perfect accommodation. Hosts extremely kind and helpful. Perfect place to stop and relax after days of driving. Akaroa and Mumfords truly a slice of paradise.

The views, the garden, the walk down to the beach, swimming from there the tranquility. Nicky and Fran are exceptional hosts, we were so pleased with their friendliness and treats.

Birdsong in the evening and morning, breathtaking views, saw a few dolphins, wood pigeons and tuis playing around the property.

Mumfords was simply perfect. Nicky and Fran put real effort into making your stay additionally special. The views,the birdsong,the gardens were beautiful. The stay was made very memorable by the warmth of the welcome...and the addition of glorious weather.

Very nice accomodation with private access to the sea. The hosts were always around and very helpful. The outside bathtube is great for stargazing

Fantastic wooden comfortable cabin set in a garden overlooking Akaroa Harbour. Love a kitchen that has cookbooks, espeically Eilizabeth David books.

So many things to mention. Nicky and Fran could not have been more welcoming or gracious hosts, spoiling us with unexpected home made treats each day. The space itself is beautiful; roomy but comfortable with the most amazing views. The garden is the icing on the cake; obviously a labour of love and it shows. There is total privacy especially when using the huge out door copper bath, a truly magical experience, like living on your own estate. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
