There was a power line down so no power in the evening. The owners were very helpful and brought a light and a bottle of hot water so we could make milk for our baby. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed.

The most relaxing get-away. Rustic wee cabin in the woods, so private and peaceful and just 3 mins from the centre of Akaroa!

The cottage was just perfect set amongst trees and nature. It was peaceful and all you could hear were birds and watch the wild life. The room was beautifully styled and the bed was just bliss. I know I will stay there again and also let friends and family know

Absolutely gorgeous views, lovely roomy cabin away from everything. Super friendly helpful staff who were ready for me when I arrived. For the price I paid I was worried it would be more of a camp style place to stay, but I was pleasantly surprised by the luxury. What an amazing place and amazing value for money. Hope to be back one day.

Mt Vernon has the most stunning, well maintained grounds with views to Akaroa Harbour. We stayed in a lodge room which was well appointed, clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable.

Loved the setting - very green and peaceful. Cannot walk to the centre (need a car). Beautifully appointed cabin with everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

The whole accommodation is surrounded by nature forest and bush. The facility is extraordinarily clean and fresh. It feels like a 5 stars hotel. Value of money.
