Superb location right on the water and very, very peaceful which is what we wanted. Beautiful views - we could have sat all day just watching the colours change across the water.

Honestly this was one of the best stays we’ve ever had! We came here for my 30th birthday and the views were out of this world. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and we loved Mary, our host, who was very kind! I used to come to Akaroa as a kid and it was so nice to return after so long and stay in an extremely comfortable place. This is a must stay as it is slightly out of the centre so that it is quiet, but close enough that you can walk in easily! We just want to say a huge thank you to Mary for letting us stay and use all of the facilities 😍

Location was superb and the apartment looked exactly like the pictures and sparkling clean. Booking.com did not send the lock box code for the keys but we easily called the host and had it sorted in minutes. We had terrible weather while we were there unfortunately but the apartment was super cozy with plenty of space and a nice little haven from the rain. Walkable to town for a few groceries to pick up for dinner and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

The penthouse was cosy and spacious has everything we needed. The view was great, you just need to cross the road and you at the beach.
