The house is located at the most beautiful village and at the best location, right at the center of the island! It is a bit further from the touristic side of Ikaria, which is Raches, but it holds the best fests , less crowded and and more original in my opinion! In a close distance there’s a bakery, a cafeteria, a restaurant and of course the port with all the amenities! The house is cozy and bright, very well accommodated, very clean and super comfy for two people even a family with two children! It feels like a real home so the experience is great! Plus, the hosts are so kind and lovely and they even saved us from big trouble when we messed up with our return tickets! They’re great people and I am very happy to get to know them! When I come back to Ikaria, I will definitely stay at this place!

Excellent, superclean and comfortable accommodation 30 seconds from the village square with very welcoming hosts, was especially nice that fresh bread, delicious cookies and other local products were waiting for us when we arrived.

Breakfast was not provided but a plate of baked goodies from the family bakery was. Along with fresh fruit, vegetables for the family garden, eggs and some fresh flowers. The location is beautiful, a little cooler in July in the mountains. The village is lovely, very pretty, very friendly with two cafe bars, a small shop and a taverna serving delicious local food about 500m away. Good walking trails all around but it was a little hot in July but there is plenty of shade and a constant breeze.
