A hidden gem. Couldn't fault the service, food or facilities. Asked for a vegetarian meal as I'm not a big seafood eater, was not disappointed. I couldn't believe the amount of food and the thought that went into it. The ladies were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth staying here if you're in the area.

Super friendly staff and amazing meals in Ryokan style. They have a private mini-Onsen that you can book for free for a slot per day. They have tatami rooms and regular rooms.

This is the place where you should go if you would like to eat some amazing Japanese food. It is a traditional ryokan that serves various dishes for dinner and breakfast. I enjoyed spending there 2 nights. The nearby area is full of curios shops and Tsuruga Castle is within 30 minutes on a walk (better to walk following Dr. Noguchi Street, it has a nice vibe) I was traveling by bicycle and they helped me to store it inside.
