Beautiful view. Amazing and attentive staff. Food was great, especially the Sri Lankan prawn curry, chili prawn spaghetti, breakfast.

This was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and it set the bar incredibly high. Everything was perfect, especially the wonderful staff (Abhishek, Malaysia, Kusun, Clement, life guard,…) who made us feel truly cared for from the moment we arrived and took care of all details. The head chef even came to ask for our preferences, and when we mentioned we wanted to try Sri Lankan food, he prepared a full, delicious meal just for us — such a thoughtful touch. We also received a special gift upon our check-out, which made the experience even more memorable. We later tried another hotel in a different area, but it didn’t compare at all — we ended up cancelling and coming back to Ahu Bay. It really felt like coming home. That alone says everything about how exceptional this place is.
