A very comfortable and peaceful place to stay in Ahangama. The location is great, it is only about a 5-minute walk to Secret Beach, which is a lovely spot for swimming. At the same time the house is far enough from the main road, so it’s quiet and you don’t hear traffic noise. The room is very comfortable and suitable even for long stays. I stayed for a month and had everything I needed, including my own fridge and access to the kitchen, which makes it easy to cook if you want. There is also a very nice veranda where you can have meals, relax in the evening or even work on a laptop. The room stays cool thanks to windows on several sides and good natural airflow. Even without air conditioning it was comfortable, and sometimes I didn’t even need the fan. The owners are very kind, friendly and always willing to help. They also offer daily room cleaning for long-term guests, which is quite rare and very appreciated. The guesthouse itself is one of the nicest places to stay in Ahangama if you prefer something more relaxed, away from the main party areas but still close to beautiful beaches. Secret Beach nearby is great not only for swimming but also for snorkeling; there are some corals and fish, so even if you don’t surf, there is still something to enjoy. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Maybe the best home stay I’ve stayed in in the south of Sri Lanka. The owners are super sweet and nice. Big bathroom. Balcony.

Very nice host, perfect location, because it’s not in the middle of ahangama but close by, and very cute beaches and cafes around. Plus it has a balcony with a beautiful view of the palm trees.
