I stayed with my family (2 adults and 2 children) and the room was perfect for us. The temples are just 5 minutes away driving (it's also possible to walk for about 20 minutes). We wanted something quiet a bit further away from the city with parking and a lovely view, and this didn't disappoint! Breakfast was also tasty and freshly cooked every morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Francesca’s place in Agrigento—it was truly amazing. Our room had a view of the temples, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. The heating worked perfectly in March, and the air conditioning kept it warm and comfortable. Check-in was super easy; we received a key, which worked flawlessly even though we arrived quite late. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room had facilities to make coffee and tea. Breakfast was lovingly prepared, and every wish was catered to. The rooftop terrace wasn’t in use yet due to the season, but when it’s warmer, it offers a spectacular view of the temples and the sea. Agrigento itself has a beautiful old town and is very easy to explore from this location. Francesca shared a lot about the house—its history and origins—and gave us fantastic food and restaurant tips, which we gladly followed. We also enjoyed a scenic drive through the surrounding area, with breathtaking views of small towns perched on hills. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here—it felt like being part of a family.

The view from the terrace was beautiful and made the perfect setting for breakfast which included a wide selection of delicious sweet and savoury dishes. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond, very attentive and incredibly friendly!

The host was very friendly and provided all the travel information we needed. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and very abundant. From the balcony, we could see the ancient temple — a truly worthwhile stay!
