Nitin was very friendly and welcoming. We were offered a choice of huts when we arrived and chose a beach-front one for ourselves (slightly more expensive, but well worth it!) and one in second row for the children, who were particularly happy with the good internet connection :). The huts are simple, but have everything you want in a beach hut: comfortable beds with mosquito nets, ceiling fans, toilets, showers with hot and cold water, and a lovely little patio with a view of the sea (even the huts in second row have a sea view, it's just more constricted). We didn't try the huts on stilts, but our front-row hut had us almost at the water's edge, and we spent all the time we weren't in the sea on the patio. The day we left, we had a train to catch in the evening, and Nitin let us keep one of the huts for the entire day free of charge - much appreciated!

We had originally intended to stay at Nana's Nook for just seven nights and ended up staying for almost four weeks because we ended up loving our stay so much! That was due to the amazing location right at the beach, the privacy the bungalows offered and the overall relaxing vibe. We can also not stress enough that the host Nitin is such a nice and hospitable person! He made us feel welcome from the start and helped us immensely when I got sick during our stay and had to go to the hospital. He made sure I was able to store the medicine I got in his private fridge and even gave me medicine of his own when I didn't have any yet and didn't even expect me to give him the money back. He also invited us over to his village to see a festival that was going on at the time which was also so considerate. Communicating with him was also super easy (via WhatsApp). The accommodation is simple but really comfortable and totally worth the price (not even mentioning that you'll fall asleep and wake to the sound of the ocean every day). There are also many amazing restaurants within walking distance (10-15 minutes) where we got delicious and fresh foods every day!

Nanas Nook is situated in an ideal location right on the beachfront. It is close to restaurants , boat hire & local shops.

I really liked that the hut is directly situated at the beach. So you can go to sleep with the waves and you always get a nice breeze. The hut is simple, but it offers good value for money. In addition, Nitin is very warm and welcome and helped me ideally to have a great stay at Agonda beach. Overall I really liked Agonda Beach, it is peaceful, you have delicious food options and can join Yoga drop-in classes.
