The place is absolutely amazing, and all the positives in previous reviews are 100% true! The apartment is beautiful, Maria is the best host one could imagine and the stunning view is indeed the best in Agios Nikolaos. But what stole my heart were the little touches: herbs on both balconies that smelled amazing (and you could snatch a leaf of mint to flavour your water) or the fact that the shampoo and shower gel, rather than the usual cheap hotel thing, were a local organic brand (and excellent). Will definately go back!

Emerald Lake Studios is a true gem. The top-floor apartment may be the smallest in the building, but the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a breathtaking view and a beautifully renovated, tastefully furnished space. It has two balconies, perfect for soaking in the scenery, and the cutest tiny kitchen — complete with a fridge stocked with water and a Nespresso machine with coffee cups. Our hostess, Maria, made the stay extra special. Warm and welcoming, she used to live here as a child, and you can feel the love she’s put into the place. She greeted us with a fruit basket, provided aromatic shower supplies in the lovely tiled bathroom, and shared great tips for restaurants and excursions. There’s even a 15% discount for a great breakfast spot nearby. Daily cleaning keeps everything spotless, and when it was time to leave, I received a thoughtful gift (I won’t spoil the surprise — you’ll just have to find out yourself!). All in all, Emerald Lake Studios combines incredible views, charming comfort, and genuine hospitality — a place you’ll remember long after your trip. PS: If you come by car there is free parking in the streets. During summer holidays the nearby school opens its school yard as a parking, also no charge (which would be a good idea, if that earns a school some money).

The best place ever. Really. First of all Maria is the best host u can ask for. She waited to personally meet us, kept us a place for a car in front of the building, greeted us with nothing but a smile. Gave us tips of restaurant (ate only in those the whole time and all were AMAZING), gave us tips on trips and what to see around during our stay. The room is everything you are looking for and felt super comfy. thought of all the smallest details. And the view is the cherry on top, spent all our evenings in the balcony. Thank you, Maria, for making us feel so welcomed and for having us at your beautiful place!

Amazing location, very close to everything with a stunning lake view. We also had 15% off breakfast at a lovely cafe nearby. The host was so kind, she met us, gave us a map and recommended beautiful beaches, places to visit and local spots to try. We really enjoyed our stay.
