Amazing location, very close to everything with a stunning lake view. We also had 15% off breakfast at a lovely cafe nearby. The host was so kind, she met us, gave us a map and recommended beautiful beaches, places to visit and local spots to try. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything! This apartment is very well equipped, super clean, in a wonderful location in the very centre and with a stunning view on the lake (in the morning, you can see a beautiful sunrise from the big terrace). The owner, Maria, was a wonderful host. She gave us plenty of suggestions and itineraries to discover beautiful beaches around Agios Nikolaos and the east/south of Crete. We had a very good time and hope to come back soon! 😊

Where do I even begin? Our stay here was nothing short of extraordinary—truly one of the most magical travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment I reached out, Maria’s warmth and attentiveness stood out. I had a feeling she would be a wonderful host, but she went above and beyond every step of the way. Despite our very late arrival, Maria greeted us with genuine smiles, a home-cooked dinner, a bottle of wine, and thoughtful breakfast supplies to get us started the next morning. It was such a generous and heartwarming welcome after a long journey. The room itself was perfectly cosy and comfortable, but the view—oh, the view! It felt like we were floating right on the lake. The peacefulness, the colours, the stillness—it was absolutely mesmerising. I honestly don’t think you could find a better outlook anywhere in Agios Nikolaos. Maria consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. She shared fantastic local recommendations, from hidden gems to must-visit spots, and even made restaurant reservations on our behalf. Her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. We were lucky enough to be there over the Easter weekend and got to witness the local Easter celebrations from our balcony—a spiritual and unforgettable experience that gave us such a deep connection to the place and its people. Leaving was the hardest part. If you have the chance, definitely book the top floor room—it’s worth every moment. We can’t recommend this beautiful place, or Maria’s incredible hospitality, highly enough. Ps: book the restaurant next door - it’s amazing too!
