The beautiful lodge has an exceptional location and is nestled in a beautiful Oasis, with a stunning view on the surrounding mountains. The garden is just out of this world beautiful with peacocks and other animals walking around freely. It is the perfect mix of Moroccan authenticity and simplicity, while also having a fantastic pool and great dinner. The rooms are small huts that are simple in all the good ways. We also had a hammam body scrub, which was great too. Just don’t expect AC or continental breakfast or any other unnecessary tourist entertainment. Luckily they stay true to themselves and this is just the way we love it.

After the desert landscapes of Merzouga Desert, arriving at Lodge Hara Oasis felt almost surreal. The blooming almond trees in February, the green oasis against the dry mountains and desert atmosphere, the peaceful lush garden with peacocks, flowers and beautiful buildings, and also the pool , they all created an incredible contrast we will remember for a long time. The food was absolutely divine , easily some of the best we had during our trip in Morocco. The drinks starting with their welcome drink that we kept on ordering -all fabulous! We also loved the magnificent kasbah with peacocks perched on top, the beautiful mountain views in the distance, and the calm, authentic atmosphere of the whole place. A special thank you to Mohammed for his kindness and warm hospitality. He made us feel genuinely welcome from the first moment. This is truly a place we would love to return to one day!
