Surf and Friends was such a wonderful place to stay! The property is impeccably looked after and the team are just amazing! About the team: Charlotte, who manages the hotel was amazingly helpful at arranging taxis, giving us local recommendations and proving fun lessons along with Ashraf. They were a blast! Bilel who was helping out at the reception was always there to greet us with the most joyous smile too each day! Ayoub and Tahal greeted us every morning for breakfast with the most delicious Moroccan eggs, tomatoes and a selection of cereals, fruits, breads, pancakes (and even baked a delicious chocolate cake one evening…which we got to pre–taste before breakfast the next day! Hahaha). And Mina is a genius in the kitchen serving up the most delicious local dishes for dinner and we had a wonderful time when we had a couscous cooking class with her. Siham who helped clean our rooms every day, was also so helpful whenever we asked for new towels or hanging our clothes out to dry after a surfing session. And last but not least we had Mehdi, the bartender looking after us who was not only very entertaining with his tales, but also kept things interesting by experimenting and letting us taste his newest cocktail/mocktail concoctions. All in all my friend and I spent a marvellous 7 nights at Surf and Friends and would most certainly recommend the property to anyone looking for a place slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of the city and with a focus on being near the beach – since that was only a 10 minute walk away. We met a lot of new people at the hotel, since it’s small enough to socialise and everyone tends to come together around the same time at breakfast. Sitting around the table eating food and swapping tales has a way of connecting you that you often don’t find in other hotels.

The structure offered several very nice places to chill out: Amazing pool and terraces with a stunning view on the bay. The room was nicely furnished, the staff provided laundry service on a very cheap price. The hotel was located in a good position to enjoy the seaside and the restaurant street.

The pool, the room, the breakfast, the terrace, the vibe. It was an overall great experience here! It‘s just 10minutes to the beach, there are many cute restaurants and cafes nearby. The owner Charlotte is super friendly and makes her guests feel very welcome. You‘ll have the greates sunsets over here! Thanks for having me!
