We have got a bigger room, as an upgrade for the price of double room. Room was spacious, clean, toilet too. Friendly staff. Beautiful bamboos and palmas in front of the room terrace.

The place is exactly what it should be and it's not a 5 star resort, nor is it ever advertised as such. A good location, very welcoming and amazing people working there, a nice and easy breakfast and everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Thank you to the owners for never failing to greet us and ask us how our trip was and if there was anything we needed. Don't read the haters in the reviews this place is just right!

Friendly and helpful family run hotel. Any problems dealt with there and then, not that there were any problems. Any language barrier may have had little difficulties, but a game of 'charades' added to the adventure. A couple of the staff had passable English, better than my impassible & impossible Greek speak. Previously, had read some poor reviews, so was guarded on arrival what to expect, but found out that none of the poor reviews were encountered in our 9 night experience. Having visited the Kassandra peninsula over a number of years, the hotel may be rated as 1* one-star, but is better than some of the 2** and 3*** star hotels we have been to in the greater surrounding area. Set on, or just back from the main road, there was little or no annoyance from the traffic noise. The small streets of Afitos has a big bother with traffic congestion, so parking up at the hotel and exploring Afitos by walking the streets was a bonus. The room's window shutters when down fully blocked all the light, so we did sleep late on occasion, thinking it was still 'early light of dawn'. So we had to remember to 'half crack' the holes of the shutters to afford a little light of the day to come through into the room. Good mattresses made for a good night's sleep, our room had two ¾-size beds, up from a single and down from a double. So the two of us could lie on each bed spread-eagled or 'starfish' without hindering the other. The A/C cooling the room more than adequately. There is probably more to like about the place, but that's enough from me, we really enjoyed it.

The hosts are very welcoming and polite, they will explain to you everything in detail upon arrival. The property offers a free parking which is very important for Afitos if you arrive by car. The wifi connection is strong through the whole property. There is a nice garden with a pool and a seating area which you can use during the day or in the evening. The rooms are cleaned every second day. There is option for a breakfast, you just need to inform them one day earlier.
