We had an amazing stay at Rethymno Palace and genuinely couldn’t fault it. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with spotless rooms and lovely grounds. There are plenty of facilities including a great indoor pool, well-kept tennis courts, and a fantastic pool and beach area with direct access to the sea. The beach bar was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing during the day—and special mention to Marko the barman who makes incredible cocktails and always brings a great atmosphere. Travelling with our 4-month-old daughter for her first holiday, we felt so well looked after. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel manager Andreas was outstanding—always available, multilingual, and happy to help with anything we needed which made our stay completely stress-free. The food was excellent with plenty of choice, and overall the hotel has a very warm, family-friendly feel.

I am very grateful for the service, attention, and quality of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Many thanks to the ladies who cleaned my room each day. The buffet service at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was impeccable—delicious, plentiful, and with a great variety. Likewise, the people who work in the restaurant and kitchen were very kind, helpful, and friendly. I spoke with some of them and they felt very welcoming. The pool and bar staff also provided excellent service and were very friendly. Similarly, the reception staff were friendly and willing to answer my questions. And many thanks to the manager, Andreas, who was clearly very focused on his work, making sure to be present for each guest, speaking to each of us in our own languages, and even remembering our names. He was very friendly and helpful, working to ensure everyone had the best possible stay. A very good hotel; I highly recommend it, and I will certainly return, and I hope to bring members of my company as well.

The hotel’s location was great, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The grounds were large and beautiful. We visited at the end of October, and there weren’t many people, so there were enough sunbeds for everyone, the place wasn’t crowded, and the staff managed everything perfectly. The hotel has its own beach with sun loungers. A bottle of water was provided with every meal. The bar served delicious cocktails. There’s also table tennis and free parking available.
