There's a reason we bypass all other options and head straight for the Sands Motel whenever we're in Adelaide. It truly feels like our little secret spot. The welcome from the owner is always the highlight; she is such a wonderfully kind and gracious host who makes every guest feel genuinely looked after. It sets the perfect tone for the entire stay. The rooms themselves are fantastic, and the modern, world-class bathrooms remain a standout feature that adds a touch of luxury. The whole property has this quiet, peaceful vibe that makes it the perfect escape from the city bustle. It's a true hidden gem that we almost want to keep all to ourselves!

It was so wonderful to be back at the Sands Motel. Every time we stay, it just reinforces why this is our favourite spot. The owner is simply the best; seeing her friendly face and receiving such a warm, genuine welcome always makes us feel like we're coming home. Her kindness is truly the heart of this place. We were just as impressed with the facilities this time around. The bathrooms are still a standout feature - truly world-class and a pleasure to use. The whole motel maintains its unique, peaceful atmosphere, like a secret little oasis that’s all your own. For comfort, warmth, and that feeling of being genuinely cared for, you can't beat it. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

What can I say about the Sands Motel? It’s our go-to spot, and it all comes down to the wonderful owner. The lovely lady at the front desk is the heart and soul of this place - she is so incredibly kind and understanding, and she is the single biggest reason we have returned so many times. She always makes us feel genuinely welcome. On top of the amazing service, the recent upgrades are fantastic. The new bathrooms are absolutely world-class and feel like something you'd find in a luxury hotel. The entire motel has this unique atmosphere, like a quiet, secret pocket hidden away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a true gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough.
