Our hosts came to collect us from the bus terminal and made everything so much easier for us. The apartment is decorated in a funky style and has a very beautiful view across the bay to the mountains. At night, the distant lights look magical, and during the day, the mountains are most impressive. The open plan living room/kitchen has two daybeds and is a wonderful space to hang out during the day, while the bedroom is lovely and cool with air conditioning. There are murals and paintings throughout the rooms, so it feels really funky and creative. The kitchen looked a little bare, but then our lovely hosts brought over everything we could wish for, enabling us to cook our own meals. And then there is the swimming pool, which we loved, a pickleball court, and other facilities. It's a very secure and private place, and really suited us for a few days away from the main drag of the city, yet still close enough to explore with the wonderful, crazy Coastal bus (imagine a disco on a bus, including lights and music).
