Amon is the best host you can dream of having, he's absolutely amazing, his suggestions made our visit to Abu Simbel the best experience possible; the rooms are big, fresh and perfectly cleaned, the breakfast is marvellous and he can help you with literally everything, if you plan to visit Abu Simbel on your own, this is the place to stay

The host is amazing and the guest house is super clean and cozy. The host is super helpful and friendly, honest take care of our needs without pushing for any tour packages. If anyone plans to stay in Abu Simbel, Amon Guest House is no doubt the first choice.

Adel always has a very easy and honest smile, just like his entire family. Their 8 year old daughter Nour took us to see the sunset and was very friendly with us and their 12 year old son showed us how to fish in Lake Nasser. Adel was very helpful throughout our stay of just 1 day, keeping us company and giving us valuable tips about shops and activities, about the Nubian people and their homes. He also took us to lunch at a very beautiful restaurant, with Nubian architecture, full of art, where we had one of the best meals in Egypt (beef tajine) with portions suitable for Europeans and the staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see the sunset or sunrise on Adel's boat, but we recommend this activity to all tourists because Lake Nasser, the surrounding nature and the temples have a unique beauty seen from the water. Adel's house is clean and fragrant, the room is spacious and comfortable. The patio is very relaxing at any time of the day, which makes drinking mint tea, smelling the roses or simply listening to the birds almost a sacred moment.

We liked very much our stay in Amon Guest House. Adil is always helpful, he contacted for us a guide to visit Abu Simbel, driving us to Abu Simbel temple for the sound and lights, ... Amon guest house is well located, near to the Lac Nasser and near to Abu Simbel. This is a quite place. We appreciate very much our stay in Amon's guest house and we recommend it. We hope that in the future we will have the opportunity to come back.
