I had a fantastic stay at this guest house! The owner was incredibly responsive throughout my visit. He received us with welcome drink and fruits. The location is just a 20-minute walk to Abu Simbel Temple, making it super convenient for exploring. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh omelets, bread, and hot coffee—a great way to start the day. But what really stood out was the host’s kindness. After checking out, I accidentally left a small bag behind. Not only did he notice it right away and try to contact me immediately, but he also took the effort to drive a shortcut to return it to me personally. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that truly made my experience special!

Our host Ramadan’s Nubian Guesthouse is lovely - maybe the nicest place we stayed during our six weeks in Egypt. Ramadan built the guesthouse from scratch, gradually expanding it to its current four rooms. It was a joy to sit on the large balcony as the sun went down - there are even screens on the doors to keep the mosquitoes out of the room. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant Ramadan recommended and we wandered around the small town of Abu Simbel in the evening. Ramadan picked us up at the airport, brought us to the temples and drove us back to the airport when our visit was over. He made everything so easy for us.

this is best one hostel in egypt i have stay, especially shower and drainage. The owner is very kindly and friendly. He help us to clean our car. I an so appreciate his doing. I strong recommend it if you plan to abu simbl.

Good walking distance to restaurants and the temple (you can also go by car). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was great.

We had a good size apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms, which I guess could be rented out as one or two apartments. It was comfortable and very conveniently located - walking distance to both Abu Simbel temple and the town. We had breakfast on the balcony leading off one of the bedrooms, which was greatly enhanced by Ramadan appearing with some of the freshest, tastiest falafel I've ever had. We had wondered about visiting Abu Simbel as a day trip, but we were glad we stayed - we weren't rushed at the temple and got to do the sound and light show - and Abu Simbel itself is a nice town, with friendly people. Unlike other tourist towns, we didn't feel we were being asked to buy something every time we walked down the street, which made for a nice evening walk.

Ramadan is an extraordinary host, who goes above and beyond to accommodate his guests with happiness and joy. He took every effort to make our stay memorable, organized entry tickets for the night show in Abu Simbel on very short notice, drove us personally to the location, then brought us to an authentic place where we enjoyed fantastic food. He took every effort to make us feel like we were family. Can’t recommend staying in this guest house enough.

We planned to stay one night in Abu Simbel and we ended staying two! the village is very relaxing, quite, good food and the people are beautiful. The light show at Abu Simbel temple is amazing and unforgettable. Ramadan can also organise a boat trip if you want, he is an amazing host and guide, he helps you with anything you need and want to do. We received free transportation to the temple and he also helped us to get a private ride to Aswan in a a very good price. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, the bed and pillows too. It is a shame so many tours just come to see the temples for the morning before returning to Aswan, as they miss out the wonderful, calm atmosphere here. We highly recommend to stay here! Thank you Ramadan for your hospitality!

The Hoster is a very friendly local man who is very patient and respectful of his guests. He was very reliable and considerate. We booked tickets for the light show that night and the sunrise boats the next day by him .he was very punctual and always contacted us 5 minutes before we were going, which made our trip very comfortable. There were welcome refreshments when we checked in, mineral water and fruit in the fridge, and he prepared coffee and tea for us at breakfast. A very memorable stay and will book again next time.

We were the only ones on the first floor, enjoying the refrigerator full of water, drinks and fruits. The air conditioner and electric fan in the room are very cold. I will share it with my friends.
