When we booked we were planning to drive. We changed our mind and travelled by train. We were pleasantly surprised that the property was only £10 by taxi from the station. Sam and Beth were very welcoming. We had an UberEats delivery on the evening we arrived, again very pleased how convenient it was.

Sam and Beth were fantastic hosts, breakfast (poached eggs on toast) was delicious, and the rooms were very clean (I clean professionally for holiday homes and was very impressed). Sam offered advice on beaches to visit and nothing was too much trouble.

The location was good, a wooded site in a quiet spot. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our breakfast - delicious poached eggs on toast, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The lemon drizzle cake & tea on arrival went down a treat! Helpful suggestion on where to eat for our evening meal. Good communication via email before our stay when we asked questions about room options.
