The breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. We all chose something different and it wasn't a problem for the chef (Stewart). The choice of fruit, yogurts, cereals, fruit juices, and preserves was fantastic. Far better than the hotel we stayed in the week before! We also pre-booked and thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal here: beef bourguignon for 3 plus a nut roast for 1. Delicious! Our party had two rooms and both rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were of a high standard. The house is very quaint, with lots of family knickknacks to admire. The directions to the property were very clear and we found it easily. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

We loved our stay here, and just wish we could've stayed longer. The owners were lovely and personable, and the place was beautiful and well set up. We went to a pub in walking distance for a quick drink, then came back to the hotel to play pool and had a couple more drinks from their honesty bar - local ales! The bedrooms were comfortable and had loads of personality! Breakfast was delicious and lots of options too.
