Ideal for 2 people, about a big as a caravan, but that was fine for us. Perfectly comfortable.

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage, small but with everything I needed. The bed was very comfy, the shower excellent and the kitchen very clean and well equipped. Gilwern itself seemed friendly, fairly quiet in the evening but with a pub and small supermarket within very easy walking distance..There is easy access to the Heads of Valley road making it a great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. As a lone traveller, I loved it.

We loved The Old Stable, very cosy right up our street. It had everything we needed and close to Abergavenny as well as having some good walks right on the doorstep. The chocolate, wine, and coffee pods were a lovely touch as well. Thanks ☺️
