Hotel de Witte is in a lovely location in the charming village of Abcoude on the outskirts of Amsterdam and within a 10 minute walk of Abcoude Railway Station. There is a car park for those travelling by car. Our room was clean and spacious and had a really comfortable bed. There was plenty of plenty of hot water for showers, etc. The shower itself was first rate and was very powerful. There was a handy kitchenette area in the room which included a kettle, microwave oven, fridge and coffee maker. The hotel is on the edge of a nature trail so plenty of walks in the countryside are available for those interested. We saw a kingfisher on one of our walks which was a treat. The staff are very welcoming and there is a bar and restaurant for those not wanting to leave the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam and this area of Holland in general.
