It was a family house. The family were living on the ground floor, and were super welcoming. It’s a cozy traditional stone house. There was a good working WiFi, a stove to keep the room warm. It was middle of winter, and there was only one more occupied room. They prepared breakfast for me (at an extra cost) which was very nice. The bathroom is shared, but it was kept clean all the time. I can recommend!

If you are near Ushguli and enjoy to stay in authentic and rustic places and prefer the warm and kind atmosphere of local people and their lifestyle, you should definitely stay at this family-run guesthouse! Nani, her husband, and their children run it with great care, a lot of energy, and a big kindness. A truly unique experience!
