Sofia's House is an amazing place. It is located in the beautiful village of Zakros, just 10 minutes from the beach. The house is beautiful, clean, and very spacious. It exceeded our expectations. It’s also cool and fresh, even in the middle of summer. It’s fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, and you have everything you need to enjoy a perfect vacation. Nikos and Maria are the best hosts—always helpful and generous. During our stay, they even offered us delicious homemade culinary gifts. We’ll come back whenever we can. We’ll always be grateful to them for making us feel at home!

Made us feel like part of the community. Unbelievable generosity of hosts and other community members. Lovely small town. Felt very safe. Close to the town square but tucked away in a quiet corner.

We are very happy and satisfied with Sofia's House and our generous hosts Nikos and Maria. It was a fantastic experience to stay in a rather small Cretan village Zakros for a few relaxed days, Thank you Nikos and Maria!

We spent three nice days at Sofia's house. There was everything we needed, we felt like at home. The hosts were very kind, every morning a little surprise waited us at the door. The house was very quiet and perfectly clean. Parking at the nearby church. Zakros is a lovely village with some good tavernas and shops. We drove around by car, near Zakros you can find very beautiful, we could even say one of the most beautiful beaches during our three-week trip. We would definitely stay there again.
