The room was very spacious and well equipped - coffee maker and fridge. Nothing too much trouble for our hosts who gave us hints about what to do and where to eat. Breakfasts were really nice and we enjoyed a meal in the evening with our hosts and other guests. We had our own terrace where we enjoyed a drink in the evening sunshine. Unfortunately we had a spell of cold weather before we arrived so we were not able to enjoy the pool. The property is in walking distance of the small town where there is a small bar with outdoor seating next to the grounds of the abbey. Food is not served there but if you buy a pizza from the machine ( yes!) opposite you can eat it in the bar - and they are quite good too!

The hosts were amazing. From check-in to check-out they were there to assist. We chose to eat our meals at the property with the hosts and other guests. It was the best decision we made during the trip. The food was amazing. The variety of dishes was all homecooked and delicious. Best food we've had in France.
