The fine print
Please note that the property can not be accessed by car. Parking is paid. Parking is possible near Srdiečko ski lift. You need to take a hike to get to Chata Kosodrevina, during the winter it is possible to use cable cars. The other parking - Krupová - is in walking distance as well, cable cars from Krupová can be used during the whole year.Please note that the price of the accommodation does not include the transport by cable cars. The guest must pay for the cable cars.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Great location for skiing. Simple but clean and comfortable accommodation. The dinner is OK, the breakfast is outstanding. The staff is all young, very friendly and helpful. They speak good English. This isn't a 5 star hotel, but a tourist hostel. If you are OK with that, this is a really comfortable place to stay. If you look for a hotel, than this is not your place.

The accommodation is situated in a very nice area of Low Tatras, under the mountain Chopok, just a few steps from a Cable Car. Staying there was like returning to 1980 :-), good value for money. Basic rooms with simple beds and a sink in the room, and shared toilets and showers on each floor. The deposit for the room key is taken with the check-in of 20 euros, and the towels are available for a deposit of 5 euros per towel. Friendly staff, nice and tasty food - for dinner, they have prepared ready meal so no option to chose from the menu... The breakfast was buffet-style. The car park is situated at the bottom cable car station and costs 10 euros per day. There was a nice panoramic view from the dinning area. There is no option to get to the accommodation by standard car, The Cable car station is basically a step from the hotel entrance.. Easy access: ski in, ski out. Guests can use the storage area for skis and snowboards, and ski boots can be stored in the communal area next to the reception, where there are available racks for boots next to the heaters.

The cabin (chata) is quite old-school, but we just loved it there. The location is just perfect for skiing (or hiking) holidays - you are basically on the slope. Half board is included (buffet breakfast and two courses (soup + main course) dinner). You can borrow the towel (5EUR deposit).
