We absolutely loved this hotel. It is a basic hotel but it's a 2 minute drive from the motorway and a 5 minute drive to parking in Saintes. The hotel itself has an abundance of parking that is easy to access which is a huge relief after what was a long drive and you are able to park right outside the hotel, no negotiating underground parking. The hotel itself has very 1990s decor but that came with may advantages like space in the rooms, a full bath and shower rather than a tiny cubicle of a bathroom, the room had space for luggage, the beds were an excellent size and were very comfortable, the room had a kettle and a full desk with 2 chairs. The staff were lovely. Its clear the hotel has recently changed hands and I wish them every success in that. We travel a lot and although its clear this hotel is a work in progress it was a great place for an overnight stop or a trip to Saintes
