There are few places with such character and of course history, which combine peace with first class food and of course wine.. The staff were all delightful, especially as we arrived on a blistering hot day by motorcycle !!

Perfect service in the hotel, wonderful surroundings, great beds and bathrooms. Fantastic The Frame smart TV set, and nice tea set and coffee making facilities in the room, Also, special safe inlay and minibar.

We received a very warm welcome from the delightful and charming members of staff. Our bags were taken up to our room, which was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was also very good and the breakfast room has lovely views looking across to Chateauneuf-en-Auxois. The bar area is very cosy and we enjoyed a lovely glass of champagne in front of the fire. Unfortunately we didn't dine at Sainte-Sabine as we had already had a big lunch with friends, but hopefully another time. I heard a member of staff discussing the menu options with a vegetarian and they went to great lengths to ensure she had the best dining experience. A great location for visiting local areas of interest such as Chateauneuf-en-Auxois, Chateau de Commarin and the Canal de Bourgogne. A place I would definitely come back to.
