Beautiful , relaxed, stylish country inn, situated in the grounds of Chatsworth house. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The views and the walking around the inn were fabulous. It will become our go to place to visit in Derbyshire.

The hotel was very cosy, the beds comfortable, WLAN worked well. To get into bed, you needed a staircase. :-). It was wonderfully quiet at night. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant round the corner were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is our 4th visit. We stop off overnight on our travels across uk. Magnificent setting. Village and hotel steeped in history. The staff are excellent and friendly. Dog friendly. Our dog Merlot loves it. Stayed in room with 4-poster bed. Breakfast simple but good quality. Local Chatsworth farm shop nearby. Impossible not to buy something.
