Fabulous location, right in Casco Viejo. Would recommend a room with a balcony as its great to people watch and relax for a while! Breakfast is included which was a.nice bonus.

Hotel Baluarte is very conveniently located. It is a small hotel but it is very functional. The room was small but it was all that we needed. A nice, clean bed, closet space and bathroom with shower and lighted mirror. The air conditioning worked well. The staff was exceptionally accomodating. We had an early flight so the attending staff member had fruit waiting for us in the morning. The hotel also allowed us to store our luggage there on our return as we explored Old Town before our next flight. We will definitely stay again.

We had some issues with our AC however the staff were very helpful in assisting to get it working. Great location in old town, although it is right next door to a rooftop bar that has music playing very loud into the early hours of the morning (make sure you’ve got some earplugs!)
