If you’re looking for a place to reset your nervous system, find peace, and return to a slower way of living, this is the perfect retreat. Waking up surrounded by dunes and being able to take long, quiet walks was pure magic. I learned so much about nomadic culture thanks to Brahim and Salah, attentive, funny, and incredibly welcoming hosts. Mohamed spoiled us with his delicious tajines, and everyone created unforgettable nights filled with music around the fire under a sky full of shooting stars. I ended up extending my stay. This place healed my soul. It will stay in my heart forever.

The welcoming, helpful staff. The large, atmospheric dining room. The food. The large, shaded, social seating area Brahim, the host, was extremely accommodating, funny and helpful. He organised a trip for us further into Erg Chegagga, including 4wd transport to a tented camp with great facilities, a sunset camel ride and 4wd return journey. We asked him about this on our arrival in the evening and it was all organised for us in time for the next morning.

The accommodation is in a very nice, calm location with dunes around and the interior is beautiful. The hosts were very helpful. Brahim also took us on a trip to the desert - a really nice trip, with a stop for food and then a stop at a desert camp surrounded by high dunes.
