The metro is just a 5-minute walk from Odalys City Marseille Prado, and after just a few stops, you’re already in the city center — that’s a big plus. The view from the window included mountains and a courtyard — very nice. The room had everything we needed. The staff was polite, and we also chose this place because it has a 24-hour reception desk.

It is a budget hotel, but very serviceable for a three night stay in Marseille. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Good to have a kitchenette when you are travelling on a budget. It was close to the Metro and bus, and a Carrefour market. Be prepared to pay a EUR150 security deposit, which is returned if you take out your rubbish and leave the kitchenette clean. We had a problem with mosquitos when we left the window open, and that was on the eighth floor. Need to leave some insect spray for guests. The wifi didn't work in the room, so had to go to the rooftop to get access. Also, no plugs in the kitchen or bathroom sink. I was fortunate that I had brought one.

Excellent facilities ( proper coffee m/c, tea-pot!) breakfast okay but wouldn’t pay 18 euros for it if not included in room rate.
