I stayed for a very short Time and it quiet empty. I had everything and it was really clean with a good location (in a shopping venue). The staff was really friendly

It's very well located, only 10 mins walk from Himeji station, and 20 mins walk from Himeji Castle, Himeji City Museum of Art, Hyogo Prefectural Museum of History. The bus stop to Mt Shosha is on the main road, which is only 10 mins walk from the hostel. There is a LGBTQ+ and Sustainability focused independent supermarket a few mins walk away, as well as a large Bon Marché supermarket further into the arcade. Generally, there's plenty of cafés, restaurants and amenities within easy access. Fresh towels were provided every day, and there was a nice welcome gift of a sheet mask for the women's only dorm. Although small (there is some space for suitcases at the end of the room), it was very private. The shower rooms are spacious and kept very clean by staff. The tatami common room was small but comfortable, and having a TV was nice during down time. The bed was a fairly comfortable (possibly air) mattress and pillow. During the 4 nights that I stayed, the hostel varied in being pretty empty (2 guests inc myself) to fairly busy (8-10 guests) given there isn't much communal space, so it was a comfortable stay for me. The staff are friendly and very helpful, offering to carry my large and heavy suitcase up the stairs to the dorms.

the hostel is nice and clean, in a perfect location, not far from the station and very close to the castle and the bus stop. the staff is amazing, friendly and helpful!

Proximity to Himeji Castle, train station, restaurants and convenience store. Also the staff, Maki chan was accommodating our request to leave luggages after checked out.
