The cabin over-sees a field and a lake, as well as being cut off from the other buildings. Owners are extremely kind and helped us with some vehicle issues. Cabin itself is spacious and facilities are great.

The property was in a lovely area with beautiful scenic views. There are multiple properties on the land, I think 5 in total including the main house, but each one is still very private. There are spa treatments available if you would like to indulge in them. When we arrived it was lovely and warm. I requested for some rose petals or a small birthday theme as it was both me and my partner’s birthdays the weekend we visited. Originally we got told that that is not something that they can provide but upon our arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see a “love” banner hanging on the headboard, chocolates, candles, rose petals, 2 lots of fresh roses in vases, a love heart filled with rose petals made from towels on the bed, home made short bread in the shape of love hearts which were delicious and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. The hideaway was very clean and tidy, bed was super comfortable and the indoor bath and hot tub really made our stay. The local supermarkets and takeaways are about a 10-15 minute drive which was perfect.

Beautifully situated cabin with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Well designed and built, with a comfortable bed, good kitchen with all the fixtures and fittings. Very spacious with an excellent Hot Tub. There was a barbecue which looked good but we didn't get the chance to use. It has a lovely bathroom and a freestanding copper bath in the massive bedroom. We arrived to find that the owners had very thoughtfully provided a pint of fresh milk! (Very welcome) a lovely bottle of sparkling wine (even more welcome) and a box of very tasty fudge! Bliss!! Best of all we could take our three dogs :) It was lovely, I only wish we could have stayed longer!
