Very clean, comfortable room. Property very quiet and staff very friendly. Convenient location. Breakfast was rather unpredictable- sometimes food was ready to serve yourself and at other times food was cooked to order. Water leaked through the ceiling in the bathroom during heavy rain but this did not cause us any issues.

“Hearty stay in Hartbeespoort”

The establishment displays an impressive french rococo style. The premises are overall in a good condition.The room was very clean and well appointed. The air conditioner was a welcome asset since we experienced a heat wave during our stay. It worked like a charm. We appreciated the availability of a bar fridge. However, we would have preferred it to be empty or at least half full, not fully stocked with liquor. We had no space to stock our water and cool drinks. The bathroom was well equipped; however, the shower head was not properly attached, and showering was like playing in a waterfall!😆 Breakfast was excellent. It included a scrumptious variety. Although all food items for breakfast had been prepared in advance, they were fresh, tasty, and hot. The waiters and chefs deserve to be complimented. They were very friendly and capable. Breakfast is the star of the show. Unfortunately, the views towards the Hartbeespoort dam were not as expected. I do understand nature has taken the upper hand - those trees had grown a lot since the photos used on Bookings.com had been taken. In general, we enjoyed the stay, and I will recommend this establishment to potential tourists. The personnel are very friendly and capable. Possibly, management should check all rooms to establish small defects like the showerhead in our bathroom.
