Martin “Convenient and comfortable value for money for budget travellers”

Value for money when travelling on a budget, with basic but comfortable rooms. The shared bathroom and separate toilet were always clean. I would stay here again. A word of caution: It is situated on the third floor (ground floor plus three), about 110 steps up, and no lift: a good check to see how fit you are! Close and convenient to the station, it is however on the non-CBD side of this and you may be propositioned after dusk: mind if you are sensitive to this.

The host are very kind and welcoming. It is a nice space, feels like home. The location is great, close to the train station with food options nearby. The kitchen and bathrooms must have been renovated recently, very nice.

Great location - favourite spot in Hamburg (Although recognise area would not be the best if a lone female late at night due to congregations of innebriated men on the street late at night). Room is one of 3 or 4 in an apartment with shared lav & shower room/lav and access to kitchen (with cooking facilities & fridge etc). A returning customer & would recommend.

Our train from Copenhagen was cancelled, so we arrived in the middle of the night to Hamburg. Our host let us in and gave us a warm welcome, and we were shown around the property despite the time being 03:30. The room we got was most excellent, the kitchen was well supplied with utensils for cooking breakfast, and the location could not be much better. Overall a very nice stay and we would like to return in the future.
