Close to the train station and bus stop, hiking paths nearby. We had everything for our short stay. The kitchen for use, also the kettle in the room.

The hotel is in a typical two-level old mining town city house with a backyard, with comfy interior in the corridors & rooms. My room faced the street but there were no noises from cars or people outside. I absolutely recommend a visit in the autumn, the landscape is gorgeous. After an initial scare, the host turned out to be very nice and forthcoming. The scare: when I arrived no one was there and no one picked up the phone, but the host rushed there on foot in a few minutes. Turned out she didn't speak any foreign languages (and my Slovakian is VERY basic) while her son who did was away, but she called him and he translated between Slovakian and English via speakerphone. I asked whether I can have an early breakfast OR a prepared breakfast as takeaway, I got both(!).
