Riads Overview

“Nice place”

I had to wait a bit at the entrance but the hotel staff did their best to make up for it. The Riad is good in terms of vehicle access within the Medina. Although it seems difficult to find at first, it is easily reached if you follow the sign. The Riad terrace and garden are really nice. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I am sure you will have a nice time in the Riad opposite the Tannery, the most famous place in Fez. Only the breakfast could be improved. It would be nice if there was cheese, tomatoes, etc.

Abdul the gentleman at the receiptionist was so professional and kind, arranged for me a cab at 05H00 for 100DH, answered all my other questions. Thank you Abdul. The path from the parking area to the Riad was well lit even at night, it went through houses that locals actually lived in. I generally felt safe though I see that some other reviews say that it was rather unnerving. It my opinion, it provides a more authentic experience. It's a short walk from the tanneries and I didn't detect any smell. And there was a wonderful rooftop view both in the day and night.

The riad is on a good location close to the main sights in Fez and has a really beautiful common area with a little garden, a pool and nice seating. Our host, Ahmed, was very helpful, gave us a lot of useful information upon arrival and offered his help throughout our whole stay. The breakfast we got on our first day was really good.
