What a fabulous place to stay, the setting and the property are lovely. The staff are the very best. Dinner and breakfast were both plentiful and delicious. A real gem of a place in stunning countryside.

Quinta de Barbêdo is an absolute treasure tucked away in the peaceful Portuguese countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the two incredibly friendly and helpful sisters who run the place. Their genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. The property itself is stunning - a true oasis. The garden is absolutely magical, with lush greenery perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet moment. The hotel rooms are beautifully minimalist, with a clean and elegant design that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. Each morning started with a truly delicious breakfast, mostly made with fresh, ingredients. A perfect start to the day. One of the highlights was the sweet, gentle dog that lives on the property, always around for a friendly cuddle or to keep you company. Quinta de Barbêdo is a rare find, a peaceful, beautifully designed retreat with a personal touch. It’s a place where you instantly feel calm and connected to nature. A true pearl in Portugal
