Arriving by car we were well informed of construction around hotel and there was good signage to get us to carpark and then to Hotel check-in via Concierge. As we had walking mobility issues, the many lifts allowed us easy access from carpark, to room and then to Eliot st. Area felt quiet and safe. We were privileged to be upgraded to the newly refurbished room with walk-in shower. 10 out of 10 beautiful refurbishment. Breakfast in dining room more than meet our needs so cake for money. The staff starting with Concierge were welcoming and helpful.

Excellent location. Walked around the city easily to nearby eateries and entertainment venues and the Sky Tower. Good-sized room and nice bathroom. Comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Used overnight parking in the building next door.

The hotel is very central and close to the Auckland Town Hall and the Civic Theatre and there are many places to eat nearby including the trendy and popular Elliott Stables Food Court. Breakfast option was great. Paying a bit extra and being able to park my car in the car park was very convenient and stress free. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again in the future that is for sure!
